Saturday morning and you’re asking yourself what to do? Get your ass down to South Congress, grab some coffee at Jo’s, and check out the pups at Austin Pets Alive looking for a home. If you like vintage shopping, this is the place to be.

Kerbey Queso in the middle of the night

‘Nuff said. This is Longhorn staple after a long, hard night of…studying. It’s open 24 hours a day and is damn delicious. You should also get their specialty pancakes.

Grab a bite at a trailer park

Torchy’s started as a food trailer, but there are tons more. A fan favorite is Paul Qui’s East Side King (found at Liberty Bar, but there’s one at Hole In The Wall on the drag). Although, Gourdough’s is an awesome dessert stop as well.

Slap da bass at Austin City Limits/Fun Fun Fun/SXSW

Yes, about the only times West Campus frat-stars and sorority girls dress “hipster” (meaning they own fake, branded “Wayfarers”) are at these festivals. ACL Fest is a must, but make sure not to go on TX/OU weekend. While other universities flee their wimpy college towns during Spring Break, Longhorns stay in Austin for SXSW.
