9.) Farrah Fawcett
Everyone’s favorite Charlie’s Angel, Farrah Fawcett, was voted among the Top Ten Most Beautiful Co-eds as a freshman! Apparently, no one before had ever achieved such success as a fish, but she did it…and went on to achieve international fame. She had been nominated for multiple Golden Globes & Emmys but is most remembered for her hot pic in a red swimsuit (probably would’ve been even hotter in burnt orange).
8.) Robert Rodriguez
Señor Robert Rodriguez is an all around bad ass…no wonder he has a band named Chingón. The director famous for such movies as Spy Kids, El Mariachi/Desperado/Once Upon a Time in Mexico, mexploitation film Machete, and Sin City is also launching his own television network, El Rey, this year. While attending UT, he wrote the script to El Mariachi, where he used money earned as a subject in a clinical trial to produce the film. He finally earned his bachelor’s in 2008 and was chosen as a commencement speaker the next year.
7.) Renée Zellweger
It took a drama class at UT for this English major to realize her love for acting. After working as a waitress around Austin, Renée finally caught a break doing commercial work and landing spots in My Boyfriend’s Back and Dazed and Confused, both of which were filmed in Austin. She has won an Academy Award, three Golden Globes, and three Screen Actors Guild awards among others.
